Matrix Fitness strengthens The Gym Group partnership with new three-year contract
Matrix Fitness, the commercial division of Johnson Health Tech, has further strengthened its partnership with The Gym Group after successfully winning a competitive tender for a new three-year contract. The contract secures Matrix Fitness as The Gym Group’s majority fitness equipment supplier installing equipment across at least 90% of its business.
Matrix Fitness has been working in partnership with The Gym Group over the last 10 years and during this time it has supplied approx. over £30m worth of equipment across 115 sites. Over the next three years, Matrix Fitness will support The Gym Group’s aim to open 200 sites by 2020 by installing over nine and a half thousand stations of equipment from its award-winning CV, Strength, Aura and Magnum Free-weights and Plate-loaded lines. The new contract will also see their dedicated in-house CAD design team working in partnership with The Gym Group’s architects to ensure all clubs have the right design and flow to support the member workout journey.
